Hello Kitty

After Audrey told Santa three times that she wanted a kitty for Christmas, you knew the big guy in the red suit would come through. Santa left our newest family member under the tree Christmas morning much to Audrey's delight. Santa also left a letter telling Audrey that since elves don't make cats, Santa rescued the kitty from the Humane Society and brought it to her. We've named her "Hello Kitty" and she's great. How many cats would let a six-year-old carry them around the house several times a day and not try to jump out of their arms?

As some of you know, every year we do a Christmas Video for the Grandparents (and for us). Here's a look at the 2008 Taylor Family Video. It includes clips of both sides of the family and lots of Audrey singing and dancing. You can also check her out in the local Homecoming Parade where she marched with the baton club.

First OSU Game

Even though the Buckeyes fell to USC, they came back to a big crowd last Saturday and Audrey got to see her first game. Her favorite part was the stadium O-H-I-O cheer and she also enjoyed the Dipping Dots and Sprites. Her pal Jimmy Cordle also got to play a new position, moving from Center to Guard, but Audrey was able to pick him out on the field. After the game we met up with counsin Katie and friends.

Cedar Point Karaoke

We went to Cedar Point awhile back. Although we got rained on a little, it was a fun day. One of the hi-lites of the day was when Audrey volunteered to sing karaoke in the kids area. She was the first one to stand up and get in front of the crowd. She wasn't sure at first but when she found out she could do a High School Musical Song and that there were stickers for kids who took part.. she was in. New Puppy (Not Ours)

Audrey's cousin Katie has a new puppy named Tressel and Audrey is learning how to take care of it. I have a feeling this could lead to a pet in our house someday soon.
