Project Runway Review

OK, so I really haven't updated Audrey's blog since discovering FB last year, but I'm making an effort to revive with her help.

As many of you know, my little fashionistas favorite show is Project Runway. I thought it would be fun to get her take from week to week.

So we went though the Project Runway Web site and here's a 7-year-old's take on Season 7 contestants:

Mila - She's not the best, but not the worst.

Emilio - He's Audrey's favorite, even before the judges said he won.

Ben - Ben is OK, we'll see what he can do later.

Amy - Kinda like her

Seth - He's really good, Audrey agrees with Tim that he needs to lay off the zippers and he will be final three.

Jay - He's another middle of the packer.

Anthony - THE FUNNIEST! which will keep him around on the show even if he makes bad clothes. (Audrey already knows how the business works)

Ping - Pong has got to go, what did the judges see in her?

Anna - Audrey's best friend's name is Anna so she has to love her.

Christiane - She was one of Audrey's favorites when they showed some of the work that got them on the show, why was she stupid during the first challenge?

Jeanane - DRAMAQUEEN! Audrey liked her work but since she re-did her dress it may get better (BTW, I refered to her as Jan Brady and Audrey did not understand the reference)

Jesus - Audrey not a fan of the "snake" dress

Pam - Audrey really liked her and is looking forward to seeing more.

Jesse - Not bad

Jonathan - Great work, Audrey likes him (another daddy reference when I called him Elvis Costello, Audrey only knows one Elvis and she was confused)

Maya - Another middle of the roader

Let's see how she does, watch out Nina Garcia.

Seth, right now, is one of my favorites and I can't remember the name of the one girl, maybe Maya?, but also one of my favorites.

I'm not too sure about this group...I thought the first challenge gave them the chance to go crazy and show their style and I felt done of them took that and ran with it. Really thought some of the fashions were quite boring.

I completely agree about Ping. However, I guess when you think about it and maybe her background, what she made is really fashion. My question is, did she sew anything at all? Or did she just drap material over her model?

Guess we'll see how the season goes!!!!
